"After Egypt, Who Should the U.S. Back?" was an article that discussed the winners and losers after the recent ousting of President Hosni Mubarak formerly of Egypt. Groups such as: the people of Egypt, the Egyptian military, President Obama were praised for roles in letting the people of Egypt have their voice in their democracy. Other groups such as: the country of Israel, Al Quaeda, as well as other countries not allowing the people of their country a voice are closer to dissolving.

After reading the article I found the following to be interesting:
1. Honsni Mubarak was the Egyptian leader for the last 30 years.
2. The military currently runs Egypt during their transition of leadership.
3. Mubarak is thought to have stolen billions of dollars, and is currently being investigated.
4. The Egyptian people used "peaceful protest" to show their disagreement with former President Mubarak.
5. Many people / countries still do not live under a democracy (where the citizens have a voice in the decisions).

I enjoyed reading this article. I have heard a lot in the news about what was happening in Egypt, but was not sure what started it. From what I read, the people of Egypt were not happy with the job President Mubarak was doing, and it turns out he was possibly doing some illegal things. Mubarak eventually gave into the demands of the citizens of Egypt, and stepped down. The message to take from this article is to never give up in what you believe in. The people of Egypt want democracy, and their dreams are becoming a reality. I would recommend this article to anyone that has ever fought for anything they wanted, and would never give up.

"After Egypt, who should the U.S. back"
The article is about winners and losers. Also Egypt. Also the president Hosni Mobarah stepped down from power. This article took place in egypt and in the U.S.
Egypt rejoiced after the ouster of its 30 year strong man. President Hosni Mubarak stepped down form power. 30 years in power and 18 days of largely peaceful protest. Democracy could eventually blossom in Egypt.
The article was very interesting. Also the article gave good info. The article was easy to understand. I think everybody should read this.

"After Egypt, Who Should the U.S. Back?" was about the debate in Egypt. The people of Egypt wanted their president to step down. He was president for 30 years.

After reading the article this is what i learned:
1: Their president ruled for 30 years.
2: Protests means fighting for what you want to change.
3: Muslim is a religion
4: There is such thing as Muslim brotherhood

I didn't like this article. We already heard about it and I don't think we wanna know more. We should stay out of there business. I recommend this to adults.

"After Egypt, who should the US back?" was an article we read about the revolution in Egypt and the winners and losers as a result. Some winners include the protesters (duh) and Obama. Some losers include Mubarak (duh) and Israel.

Four facts I found in the article are: This whole thing is causing unease throughout all the middle east governments. Most of the protesting dissolved the parliament. Israel was damaged by the revolution in Egypt.

I thought this article was confusing. It talked of things I knew little about and used phrases I wasn't familiar with. If this article was for kids, I think it would be simplified. I would recommend this article to grown ups interested in Egyptian politics.

The title of this article is " After Egypt Who should the U.S back" This is taking place in Egypt and the U.S. This article is about Egypt's protest. And how Mubarak finally stepped down after 30 years. And how Egypt used the powerful of peace protest to get Mubarak to step down.

Four facts I learned are
1. The Egyptians use the "Power of peace protest" to get mubarak to step down.
2. Mubarak ruled for 30 years.
3. Egyptians wer critizing Obama.
4. That China's and Russia's leaders that a few men decide the foat for 1.3 million people.

My overall thoughts are I don't think Egyptians should be critizing other governments for reacting so late to Egypts problems. I think the governments make there own decisons. Egypt should solve there own problems. I reccommend this to everyone.

"After Egypt, Who Should the U.S. Back?" is an article taken place in Egypt and U.S. This article is about all the protesting about the president of Egypt into democracy.

Four facts i learned from this article is:
1. President Hoshi Mubarak stepped down on Friday after 30 years in power and 18 days of largely peaceful protesting

4. After 18 days of protesting the Egyptians finally got what they wanted

My overall thoughts on this article:
I thought this article was boring. It didn't make sense. There was a ton of words I didn't know. I recommend this article to people who don't know a lot about this topic.

" After Egypt, Who Should The U.S. Back ?" is an article about Mubarak stepping down from power. Also for a good chunk of this article it mentioned people who are all nervous for this change in Egypt. This movement could be a very positive change for Egypt.

Here are three facts that I found in this article...........
-Egypt has sent shock waves around the world motivating other countries to do the same.
- Egyptians have protested for now eighteen days to get their message about changing their government.
- After thirty years of being in power Mr. Hosni Mubarak finally stepped down after many protests.

I think that this is the right choice for the Egyptian Government to make. It is about time they get some new thoughts and opinions in there. Also just wondering when would have their next election would have been anyway and I think it would take place when the old president dies.

After Egypt, Who Should the U.S. Back?

The article talks about the winners/losers of Egypt’s fight. Who should the U.S. backup. Also it had information about the winners or losers.

Four facts I’ve learned are the winners of Egypt’s fight. I learned the losers of Egypt’s fight. I learned why Egypt was fighting. I learned about the people who have a better chance at getting our support.

My thoughts are to back up the people who have a good point. Backup the people that have a good reason. Backup the people we want to help, who should be helped and who have the right and should backed up.
