"America's Bad Case of Butler Fever", an article written by Sean Gregory. The article was about the Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team, and unprecedented success they had in the NCAA basketball tournament. Being such a small school form Indianapolis, and playing other programs that are able to recruit so many better players, the success they have had the past two season in the tournament makes them a fun underdog to cheer for.

After reading the article I found the following to be interesting:
1. Butler has made it to the NCAA basketball championship the past two years, losing twice.
2. Butler graduates 83% of their players vs. 31% at Connecticut.
3. UConn coach Jim Calhoun will be suspended next season for recruiting violations.
4. Several coaches from major division one colleges have been suspended for recruiting violations.

I enjoyed reading this article. The one reason I chose this article to read for the AoW was to better understand was an "underdog" was, and why Butler is such a great story to talk about. Basketball aside, Butler was truly fighting an uphill battle, and for them to make it to the chamionship the past two seasons when looking at who they've beaten, is remarkable.

"Americas bad case of Butler fever" by Sean Gregory was about the NCAA championship. Butler and Uconn are playing for the title. Most people are rooting for Butler (even though now I know they lost.) The article tales place nationwide.

I learned that in 1985 Villanova was an 8-seed team. Ohio State players were trading memarobilia for tatoos and cash. The Bulldogs graduate 83% of their players. Uconn graduates 31% of their players.

I liked the article. It gave me more info on the tournament and insight from both sides of the teams: Uconn and Butler. I think the article is a good source of facts. I would recommend this article to basketball fans.

"America's Bad Case of Butler Fever" by Sean Gregory was about how nost of America is rooting for Butler. UConn is the underdog in this game because most people think Butler is so perfect and amazing.Uconn says the hate helps them get thier heads in the game.

I found the following facts to be interesting after reading this article: The UConn coach cheated and got suspended for three games next year. A Kentucky player got kicked off his team because he took money from a pro team in Turkey. In Ohio, players were trading team rings and jackets for money and tatoos. People rooted against a team in 1985 because the coach and team were black and supposedly "scary".

I thought this article was very opinionated. It made me want to root for UConn. It was fine that it was onpinionated because it was and opinion piece, but the author didn't have to rip on the other teams like that. I would recommend this article to basketball fans, because it was a little hard to follow if you don't know basketball well.

"America's Bad Case of Butler Fever" by Sean Gregory. Butler gas made a remarkable come back this season. As a matter of fact although they lost last season they are headed to the championships this time.
Three facts I learned from this article were............
- Butler is a favorite of lots of fans.
- The small schools Butler Bulldogs last season didn't have much luck and lost last season.
- It's been a very hard year for many different kinds of college sports.

Americas Bad Case of Butler Fever

The article talks about how the U.S.A. is going nuts for butler. The article also tells us a little about other teams. Also the article tells us about the other final four teams like VCU, uconn, and Kentucky.
I’ve learned more people are going for butler. 83% of butler’s players graduate. Butler is giving the U.S.A. a fever. Also 31% of uconn’s players graduate.
My thoughts are that I HATE BUTLER! Kentucky had to because they keep my class in the game. Also I get the hate for butler from my dad and I’m more of a Purdue guy.
