"Congress considers the DREAM Act" was about illegal immigrants in the United States that have an opportunity to become natural citizens. The DREAM Act provides an opportunity for students that are in the United States illegally an opportunity for permanent residency. Students are allowed to stay in the United States on two conditions: serve in the military or graduate from a college. The idea of this bill was originally introduced in 2001, and is currently being revisited.
I found the following to be interesing after reading the article: military contracts usually go for four to six years, but may go as low as two years. A medical exam is necessary to be eligible for the DREAM Act. Individuals eligible for the DREAM Act need to demonstrate the ability to read, write, and speak English. A high school diploma OR a general education diploma can be obtained by an individual to remain eligible for the DREAM Act.
I enjoyed reading this article. People who come to the United States illegally has been an issue in our country for years. I think this is great idea in terms of an incentive for individuals to stay in the United State legally, and at the same time be an active member of our society. I would recommend this article anyone who is in the United States illegally.

Lots of changes have been made to it apparently because it lists some of them. It also introduces the point of the bill to give illegal people in the U.S a chance to be a real American.
Three facts I learned in this article where. 1.Is that the DREAM in DREAM act stands for The Development,Relief and Education for Alien Minors. 2. I also learned that this boll was first introduced on August 1, 2001. 3. A fact that I learned about the bill it's self was that an earlier version of the DREAM act would've immediately grant a legal immigrant status if they met the bills requirements.
I would recommend this article to parents and kids across the country because I think they should see what is going on in the nation right now. I didn't really like this article. There were several changes made to this bill, some of which include the age cap and rules about immigrating familys. If these people pose a terrosist threat, they do not qualify for the act. I think it would be a good idea to in force this 'Dream Act'because it could save millions of people. But i also think that if this law were tobe in forced there should be some kind of precation so that bad people don't get in. I would recomend this article to imagrants so that they don't lose hope.
Congress is introducing the alien minor act (the DREAM act). The DREAM act is still in review from august 1, 2001. This law effects illegal’s 15 and under. This is taking place in congress.
Four facts from the article I’ve learn are… • This law was introducing in 2001. • This law effects 15 and under kids. • To become a citizen they need to serve the military for 2 years or go to college for 4 years. • Also have no crime records or the law is ineffective to them.
I believe this law gives kids with no rights to have rights. This law lets other people around the world (15 and under) to share our freedom. Also, this law gives us more military support out there to help keep others and ourselves safe. I would recommend this article to illegal immigrants 15 years and under who don’t know of this law.

Good caracter is something that a government wants to see on a bill aplicats.

It talks about the plan and details for the act. It tells how people outside the U.S can become a U.S citizen. This article mostly takes place in the U.S.

I don't think the law should pass because whether or not you want to be a U.S citizen you are never really part of the country. They're born out of the U.S and want to become a U.S citizen but they have to go through either 2 years of college or 2 years of military service. That to me sounds like a lot of work! You also have to have graduated from an American high school or obtain G.E.D., and ost of all you have to have good moral charcter.
I think it would be a good idea to in force this 'Dream Act'because it could save millions of people. But i also think that if this law were tobe in forced there should be some kind of precation so that bad people don't get in. I would recomend this article to imagrants so that they don't lose hope.
Congress considers the DREAM Act
Congress is introducing the alien minor act (the DREAM act). The DREAM act is still in review from august 1, 2001. This law effects illegal’s 15 and under. This is taking place in congress.
Four facts from the article I’ve learn are…
• This law was introducing in 2001.

There was something called "The DREAM Act" (development, relief, and edjucation for alien minors). The DREAM Act is a piece of proposed federal legislation in the U.S. that first introduced in the U.S. senate on August 1st 2001. It talks about the plan and details for the act. It tells how people outside the U.S can become a U.S citizen. This article mostly takes place in the U.S.
Four facts I learned from this article are:

*An earlier version of the DREAM act was authored by Republican Senator Orrin Hatch and cosponsered by Senator John Mccain
*You have to be under the age of 29 years old

I don't think the law should pass because whether or not you want to be a U.S citizen you are never really part of the country. They're born out of the U.S and want to become a U.S citizen but they have to go through either 2 years of college or 2 years of military service. That to me sounds like a lot of work! I would recommend this article to people that are involved in the U.S or to people that want to learn more about what is happening around us.
