"Students Lie, Cheat, Steal, but Say They're Good" was an article written by David Crary of the Associated Press. His article explored the growing number of students in the United States that lie, cheat, or steal. One of the reasons for the spike in these activities among youth is the growing pressures in schools today to perform at such a high level. Crary concludes his article calling for reform in the education system, and addressing this problem as a nation instead of just blaming todays youth.

After reading this article, I found the following to be interesting. Kids today are being solely blamed for the problems of lying, cheating, and stealing in the United States. Students participating in these activities are not feeling any guilt. Kids steal more from a parent or relative rather than a friend. Plagarism is a form of cheating.

I thought this was an eye opening article, and I enjoyed reading it. This is an issue that needs to be dealt with in our nation. Not only is it the students responsibility to change, but teachers, and parents have to commit to address this as well. I would recommend this article to students, parents, or teachers.

"Students Lie, Cheat, Steal, but Say They're Good" was an article written by David Crary and took place nationwide. This article told about how many students lie, cheat, and steal. People surveyed students annmonosly to ask if they lie, cheat and or steal. Many people should be concerned about this conflict.

I learned the following from this article: The number of people cheating has increased from 2004. I learned how many kids lie, cheat, and steal. 23% of people steal from a parent of relitive. 30% of people acknolage from stealing from a store within the past year.

I thought this article was okay. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. All though i think this was the best article in the past three weeks. I would recommend this to parents and teachers.

The article "Students Lie, Cheat, and Steal but Say They're Good" was written by David Crary. This article was about how more students are lying, cheating, and stealing. Rates of cheating, stealing, and lying have gone up. Some think adults need to step up and stop this. This article took place in New York.

I learned that 64% of highschool students have cheated in the past year. 42% of highschoolers lie to save money. More pressure causes more bad behavior. 36% of highschool students use the internet to plagiarize an assignment.

I liked the article. It gave me a good idea of how many people are stealing, cheating, and lying. It made me make sure I will never do those things in highschool. I would recommend this article to highschool students.

I thought it was a good article. It was a good idea to put this article out there so students may see what could causefor there future. It also told us what percrntage of students did this and that. I would recomend this article to parents so that they remind there children that it is wrong to lie, cheat, and steal.

"Students,Lie,Cheat and Steal but say there good" by David Crary is about how kids these days are cheating and lying, more than they used to. The percentage of kids that are stealing and lying today is 30%, the percentage of kids who have cheated on a test is 64%. People think that parents and teachers should try to help this problem.

I learned the following after reading this article: The percentage of kids lying and cheating these days keeps going up. Many people think that kids are involved in so much that it causes them to "cut corners". Some people think that kids cheat because it is harder for them to get into college, than before. Also people think that the public knows about kids lying and cheating but don't do anything about it.

This article really amazed me. I was so surprised that so many people in high school have stolen something or cheated on a test. I also think that to help this situation instead of sittig around the public should do something about it. I would reccomened this article to teachers, parents, and high school students.

"Students Lie, Cheat, and Steal, but Say They're Good" was an article written by David Crary. It was about how today, students supposedly lie, cheat, and steal more than their processors. The kids find this normal and are still happy with who they are, though. Still, some people defend kids, saying that huge amounts of pressure are being put on today's generation of kids. This problem is being found nationwide.

Four facts I found while reading the article are: Precents of lieing, cheating, and stealing students are way up. Students, though doing illigal, mean, and unsafe things, are still satisfyed with who they are as a person. Schools are overloading kids with homework and blame, and lieing and cheating seem like a way out. No action is being taken yet, but it may be taken soon.

I liked this article because it was directed towards kids and is written in a way I can understand. I also like that the author included statistics to back up his opinion. I agree withe the point that kids have a lot more on their backs today versus 50 years ago, and that this may lead to this type of behavior. I would reccommend this article to kids from sixth grade to collage because I think they could benifit from learning about this.

'Students Lie, Cheat, and Steal but Say There Good' By; David Crary was about how kids are cheating and stealing more. One of the reasons why kids are cheating more is because they are in a envirorment where the temptatinon is greater. It is kind of like drugs, everyone else is doing so why shouldn't we.

Some facts that i learnd from the article was alot of people blame societys problems on young people without reconizing that there not the one's decionsabout what is happening in society. Cheating in school is rampantly getting worse, 64% of students cheatedon a test the past year and 38% two or more years ago. Did you know that 39% of students used the internet to plagiarize an assignment. Kids have gotten to alot more uncivilized people when it comes to how they behave.

I thought that this article was good but there were alot of words that were hard to pronouce. I cannot belive how bad kids have gotten from a couple years ago. The parents should step up and tell the that this isn't right. I would recomend this article to parents so that they remind there children that even if somone else is doing somthing wrong doesn't make it right.

"Students Lie,Cheat,Steal but Say They're Good" was an article by David Crary. This article was about how kids are lieing, cheating, and stealing but in the end don't think anything of it. When they took a survey (30,000 students) the numbers were really high for cheating and stealing. Schools need to put a stop to this!! This article is taking place nationwide.

Four facts I learned from the article were: Teachers and princapals were very suprised by the numbers on the survey. 93% of the students (surveyed) said that they were satisfied with their persnal ethics and character. 77% of the students (surveyed) said that "When it comes to doing the right thing I am better then most people I know." The last thing is that 30% of students said that they stole from a store within the last year.

I liked this article. It was very understanding and interesting for what they were talking about. I was also partly suprised on some of the precentages. I would reccomend this article to teachers, students, and parents.

In the AOW this week that is called "Students Lie, Cheat, Steal, but Say They're Good" David Crary talks about how students all over the U.S steal, cheat, or lie about something. Some people think the students are to blame when technically it's not all the students faults. Also the results of the survey where absolutely stunning and one thing that they found during the survey was that most of the pressure to for say lie comes from school.

Some of the facts that I found in this article were .....
1. 30% of U.S high school students in the past year have stolen something from a store.
2. The results of kids cheating came up to 64%.
3. This survey found that Previous Generations were more honest than todays young people.

I think tho point of Crary writing this article was to show how much robbing and cheating with kids have gone up. I liked this article even though for the most part there was nothing new. Also even in a school like Woodland there is always going to be a kid like that.

The title of this article is " Students Lie,Cheat, Steal, but still think th're good." And this article is written by David Crary. The way I would summarize this article is by saying kids are lieing, stealing, cheating on test, abd still think there okay. Kids steal from parents, friends but don't think they're going to get in touble. They have took a survey that shows how many people do these thing. This tak place in the United States.

Four facts I learned from this article are...
1. 30% U.S high school student have stolen from a store.
2. 64% U.S high school students have cheated on a test
3. 93% of students are statasfied with lieing, cheating, stealing.
4. Many student don't think that it's a big deal to lie steal, and cheat

My overall thoughts are I liked the article because if parents, teachers read this they will probaly stop there kids from doing these things. If this brought to there attention maybe the United States sill become a better place. It will show people these things are wrong. I recommend this to parents.

"Students Lie,Cheat,Steal, but Say They're Good" written by David Crary was about high school students lying, cheating, and stealing. They know it's bad but do it anyway. They really don't care. It's happening around the US.
Four facts I learned are:1,lots of high schoolers do these bad things.2,cheating is getting worse.3,Some kids even share homework. And 4, lots of people blame H.S. kids but it might be the teachers giving to much homework.
I liked the article because it was interesting to see what kinds of things H.S. kids have done. I think if it is shown to them they'll stop and the numbers will go down. So it was pretty good. I recommend the article to teachers, students and parents.

"Students Lie, Cheat, Steal, but Say They're Good" was an article written by David Crary. This article is about how students lie, cheat, and steal and how society blames them for it even though there are things in the world that are making them do that. It shows percentages of a survey that 29,760 students from 100 different high schools took whether or not they lie, cheat, or steal. This article gives a lot of information on this topic. This article is taken place nationwide.

Four facts I learned from this article are:
-30 percent of 29,760 students say they stole from a store in the past year.
-77 percent say when it comes to doing the right thing, they are better than most people they know.
-Stress can lead to more lying, cheating, and stealing.
-Pressures on kids have increased dramatically

I liked this article. I think it's mostly aimed for High School and Middle School students. I thought this article gave a lot of information that can be useful. I would recommend this article to students, teachers, and adults.

"Students lie, cheat, steal but say they're good" is an article by David Crary that takes place worldwide. This article is about how students today are lying, cheating and/or stealing. We need to stop this now. We can't let this just slip right through our hands, it's serious.

Four facts I learned from this article are that 30% of U.S. high school students stole from a store, 64% cheated on a test, and 42% lied. Today young people are less honest than in the past generations. Cheating in school is rampant and getting worse. Some parents aren't taking this seriously. Why?

My overall thoughts on this article: I like this article because I thought it was an interesting topic to read about. It interests me because I am amazed by how much people cheat, lie and steal. I also like it because it was about kids my age. I recommend this article to students who are dishonest as well as parents and teachers.
