• Friday morning is career day @ Mapleview.
• Friday is a half day.

Assignments:

Math:

• Login & check the Edmodo math page on a nightly basis.
• Monday - unit two review
• Tuesday - unit two review
• Wednesday - unit two test
• Thursday - unit two test

Writing:

• Login & check the Edmodo homeroom page on a nightly basis.
• If your child starts to publish a writing piece at school via Google Docs, and does not finish, I'm asking that they complete the piece at home.
• Current genre study: persona narrative / memoir.

Reading:

• Monday - Article of the Week evidence of a close reading & summary (submitted via Edmodo).
• Tuesday - Article of the Week outline.
• Thursday - Article of the Week three paragraph write up submitted via Edmodo.
• Book clubs - RED book club sheet (completed prior to group meeting), and Edmodo post.
• Read 30 minutes. All students should have some sort of chapter book they are reading as well as another piece of reading material of their choice.
