I have a good friend of mine who absolutely drives me CRAZY when we hang out together because he is ALWAYS on his phone. There have been times when we have been out golfing or out to dinner, and he is on his phone either talking or texting. I don't think he does this on purpose. He is a very socialable person, but it gets frustrating when he does this while we are hanging out.
Why are cell phone rules necessary?
Cell phone rules are necessary because some people are absolutely clueless when they talk on their phone, and have no common courtesy towards others when they are in public. Many people think the world revolves around them, and have no idea how much they disrupt the others around them when they are talking on their phone.
Why are the cell phone rules necessary because most young adults 16-18 with cell phones may abuse the privilege to have one by turning on at the theaters or talking of r texting while driving. Even though they (the people with cell phones)don't know they can be very rude in many ways .Texting in a conforsation. Some of the people should take a look at these rules.

i think cell phone rules are necessary because a lot of people don't follow these rules and because they don't follow them they could get hurt for like talking on the phone in the car. If you weren't paying attention you could get in a car crash. Plus if you put to much info on the internet someone could track you down

One time we went to a movie theater and a person behind us had there cell phone on even though they had prieviews and sighns saying to please turn them off. Then her cell phone rang. Then she answered it and instead of going into the hallway she had a conversation while everyone was trying to watch the movie. If I could give anyadvice to that lady I would tell her to read this article.
i like cellphones and i think can come in handy. but cell phones can also be a huge distraction.but it can be avoided, by lowering your voice when you talk, avoid texting when your by someone,and shut off your phone when you are watching a movie or eating in a resteraunt.what i don't get is why people would text eachother during a face to face conversation, i think it is a waste of money. i mean why do we have mouths.

A time when a cell phone violation drove me crazy was when I was at the movie theater and it was a really good part and all of a sudden this girl in front of me phone rang, and it was the most annoying sound ever! she did nothing about it. she just let it ring and everyone looked at her but still, she did NOTHING about her really annoying phone! She is the reason why everyone in the theater missed a really good part!
I think that the 15 rules to follow about cell phone use are important. the best rules to follow I think are rules 2,7 and 12. I think that rule 2, avoid topic that others shouden't hearbecuase people could hear and intrude into your house.Rule 7, hang up and drive at all times because the most car crashes I hear of are people on the phone.If we don't talk on the phone and drive so we might not have so many car crashes.I also feel that rule 12,avoid showing to much information about your self on face book, that is an important rule because some guy or girl that could have a fake I.D. you could showthem to much information your self and/or your family.They could figure out where you live and do bad things to you and/or your family. Most improtantly take the calls from the person paying the bill.
Why are cell phone necessary.
I think that they are because alot of people don't do them.Rule 14 I did not get because if you are in the mall,if you look a round alot of people are on the phone and some are not even five feet away from other people. I did not get what vulgar or synchronize,latency and epidemiological meant.
the question i decided to answer was the one that said why do cell phones matter and i responded becease if there are no rules people that are bad and the people that dont know you could get personal information, and if people knew your personal information the and if they knew that it could be bad for u and your family and it could be dangerous because the could find out your adress and other information they shouldn't no. so make sure that your not giving out really personal information

They are necassary because if you don't follow most of them they could cause problems with radiation for example carry your phone one inch from your body, don't sleep with it by your bed because your getting the radiation from the phone.
Q1:Cell phone rules are necessary because if you don't follow them you can get in trouble. If you are talking about something important lower your voice. Other people don't want to hear your conversation. It can sometimes be personal stuff that the person on the other end doesn't want people to hear.

i think cell phone rules are necassary because if you dont inforce them kids could be calling or answering calls from strangers who are NOT people we children should be talking too and if they use vulgar words and actions on a regular basis and that is not what any of us should be doing at this age or ever in our lives. that is why i fell cell phone rules are important.

I think that you should use "Please" and "Thank You".when you text, because if you don't use please and thank you, people might think that you are talking in a mean way or something like that.
Q2. Choose you tone wisely (no Vulgar ring tones)
You should not have vulgar ring tones, because if there are little kids around when you get a call those kids will start saying those bad words.

Once I tried to call someone and they didn't really want to talk to me so they just didn't answer but what I hate about that is that if you're face to face they would have talked to you.
Also, it could have been really important but they would have just blown you're call off, but if you were face to face they would have listened and talked to you.
the part i dont get is if the person you are talking to is in a loud place how can you talk to the person in a quiet voise. and also does keeping your phone next to you give off that radiation into the air

One time I was talking to my sister in my room and she just got texting on her cell phone and she was texting and texting and texting.
When I finally told her to stop she was on her phone talking to a friend while looking things up on the internet I was thinking to myself "You just broke a ton of rules". Another time she broke a rule she selpt with her cell phone under her pillow so she could have midnight conversations with her friends!

I thinkthes cellphone rules are necessary because without these rules peop can do pretty much anything they want. You never know what a person could do maybe something horrible you will never know. And without the rule don't talk on the phone while driving. would probaly cause alot more deaths not knowing if your ever safe if they didn't have that rule. life would be at risk every time you step in to your car and your wheel touches the road. And just because you want to talk on a cellphone don't be five feet from your freind and call them when you could just walk a few feet and talk to there face. thats why i think cellphone rules are necessary.

is when me and my sister got in a big fight and i had a friend over and i didn't want to talk out loud so i wanted to Tex my friend but she was sitting right next to me and i didn't want to wispier to her cause also my sister was also sitting right next to me and she would hear so we where just sitting there in the car next to each other and it was really weird.

I have a babysitter named Sam who dosen't put her phone down when she is talking to us! Her friends text her and she texts them back and then they text right back to her an so on. IT IS SOOOOOOO ANOYING! She talks at the same time and even though she is good at multitasking, it is still not the same because she isn't making eye contact with us or anything. I don't really want to say anything about it, because that minght come across as rude. I don't think she realizes what she is doing or that it is very rude, but that doesn't escuse her at all. I wish she would stop doing it without me asking. Any suggestions, people? Solutions would be aprecciated.

Yes! When some of my friends are talking to me but at the same time texting like 5 people at ounce! It just gets annoying when your trying to have a convorsation with your friend and your talking to them and it just looks like they are paying no attenion to what your saying because they have a different conversation going on with their phone! Another thing is when I am having a conversation with one of my friends and then they get a phone call and the conversation with the person on the phone goes on and on and on and on!

Because that way some of your personal information won't be heard or given to strangers. Also on how to use your phone correctly and not get as attatched to it. One of the rules that stuck out to me was to keep a distance of 10 feet from the nearest person when talking on a cell phone. I think the 10-foot rule is a good thing because if you're talking about something important you wouldn't want someone listening to your conversation.
i think that the cellophone rules are neccesary because if you were talking to someone about some important stuff and a different person they could hear you if you are less than ten feet away. i also think that the radiation in the phone could make you sick in a way. so i thinkthe phone rules are a great thing to follow!

Well my friend took me to a ballet and there was a person sitting in front of us and she was recording the ballet! Now I know this wasn't on the list but it is still ELEGEL! And the thing that bugged me the most is that when we tolled the usher and she confronted the lady, she denied it and got away with it. Ugg. People these days.

I think cellphone rules are important. Who would want to be in a movie theater and someones phone would go off and be loud and flashing. Or how would you like to be talking to someone and they ditch them to make a call. Emily B. made a good point with her statement. I would be annoyed by that. Cellphone rules are basically just being courteous.
