What I will be talking about is how I think Jamal should have gotten in more trouble. And how Tito has to move, I hope he doesn't. Jamals dad beats his wife. Also, I think Jamal is a bad friend for bringing Tito in to this and getting him in trouble. One connection I had was where my grandma lives you can not really go out late because there are lots of gangs and its dangerous, I just thought that related to the book. Yes I have enjoyed this book it found it suspenseful when needed and it was just a great book. Some things i was not happy about, however, were the consequences. They should be reversed with Jamal getting in trouble for being stupid and Tito getting off the hook because there was a lot of pier pressure.
Important information that I found is that Jamal didn't want to be in the Scorpions at first. More settings in the story are the alley. A prediction I had was that Indian might end up killing Jamal because he hates him. One connection with text to text I had was I read a book that was exactly like this one last year that had the same concept in it. New characters I had were Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Stanton. And a few questions I had on the the book were Why did Mack need the ten dollars from Jamal, how much money do the Hicks have for Randy's bail so far, and will the guy that Jamal's trading the gun to shoot either one of Tito or Jamal?
I enjoyed reading the book Scorpions a lot. It would always keep me on the edge of my chair. The thins I liked about this book is it had a lot of action, emotions, and adventure, the three things I always like about a book. And I hope who ever else reads this book likes it too!
Important information from text was that Jamal was going to take the gun back to Mack but Mack was all drug. My other Important information is Indian is taking over the scorpions and everyone is listening to him. The last one is Jamal threw the gun away in the dumpster. My predictions are that Jamal is not going to take the gun back to Mack which I was wrong. My other prediction is will Indian take over the scorpions. I predict that Indian is going to kill Jamal. The questions I have is will Randy die and who was the guy in the taxi cab?
I am enjoying this book so far because it has a lot of action in it. The other reason I like this book because its like a mystery and gives you clues what will happen next. We are done with the book.
