The setting of the story is that Percy, Grover, and Annabeth are in the Underworld and I think Percy will suceed in getting the masterbolt, but I think the bolt will not be in the Underworld, because there has been alot of signs saying that Hades is looking for it. The main summary of the text is that Percy is in the Underworld and has run into many MANY problems including Ceberus, Crusty, etc. etc. The main characters are Percy-Son of Poseidan, Grover-Percy's helper, and Annabeth-Daughter of Athena.

I am really suprised that surbis the three headed dog was obidient and cought the ball. I also think that his pearls will not work becouse it said it wouls not work. I think crusty was a half blood becouse his sword killed him. I predict they will sucseed in the end. I dont think he will bring back his mother becouse there keeping her captive snd shes probably not. in the underworld. i think one of them will betray them because it said they would
I wonder how whenever Percy, Grover, and Annabeth stop somewhere there is always a monster there that wants to kill them. I wonder what the quest would be like if Percy didn't get the pen/sword from Chiron? My guess is that they probably wouldn't survive long after having to fight Medusa and Crusty.
So far I have loved the book the Lighting Thief. I think this is such a good book because of all the action and having to retrieve the lightning bolt.
