Jonas saw the apple change when he was playing with it. Jonas likes Fiona. The new characters are Fiona. I think the book is boring in all states. I think the character, Jonas, is going to get a memory of snow. I think it is silly to wait NINE years to get a bike!!!!!!!!!!! I would not like it if some one will cut my hair. I also wouldn't like it if you have to tell your dreams and take away your toys.

To me I think that Jonas does not seem to be liking his job that much, because he is going to loose the time he got to spend with his friends and now he has to follow a list of rules. The settings of the book is his house and school. Jonas got a job for turning a twelve and his little sister Lily got a bike from turning a nine.
I am not enjoying the book so far, because it has no excitement as the other book Lois Lowry wrote which is Numbers.
